Does anyone know the correct way to take the main fairings off the bike? It seems to be glued to a metal bracket.
if the bike is a vf1000f, should have only 1 screw on each side on bottom of fairing and be able to pull the fairing straight forward, there should be one front slot on each iner side of fairing near the headlight area.
Sometimes also helps to slide the tank back a bit, on my FE the tank pushes up tight to the fairing.
