Aussie VF1000RE "in the shed" work

Appreciate it Bif…especially coming from yourself.

I’m not going to just let it sit in the shed…I want to get out and ride it whilst I’m still young enough to enjoy it…it only has just shy of 27,000km, (~16,700miles), on it…so “just run-in”…engine is smooth and quiet…, it’s a pleasure to ride now with the new, ignition system, suspension, tyres and brakes. It even runs a new Lithium battery too, turns over like a sewing machine.

Hi All,
Just a little info that may help with people looking for slip-on exhaust systems for their R’s…I wanted to keep my stock mufflers in good condition and store them away since they’re “unicorns” and near impossible to find in good condition…and ridiculously expensive when you can find them… and whilst I was looking around for something aftermarket I lucked onto a pair of mufflers made by “Dominator” in Poland…they’re a full polished stainless slip-on setup and although not specifically for the VF1000R’s, the mufflers and link pipes for the “Blackbird” appear to fit fine…at least they fit on mine and look the part…! They have a nice deep tone to them and not too loud. With the supplied DB killers in them, they’re actually fairly quiet.
