A friend bought the lower part of a VF1000RE fairing from a warehouse years ago. Because he never needed it, he was willing to let me have it.
The part is brand new with original paintwork and in perfect condition.
To my frustration, I discovered that the fairing on the VF1000RF is completely different. NO chance of using the part. I am still crying.

As you mention, that’s a lower fairing off a 1984 “RE” not even close to the '85 - '86 RF/RG. They’re quite different bikes unfortunately.

There is only one little problem. I’m in Austria, you are in Australia. Any idea how the shipping will work.
Shipping to Australia will more than likely be more than it is worth…probably better if you sell to someone more local to you.
