Hiya gang…
Well - with the nice weather and all this weekend I thought I’d fit the brand new front calipers acquired recently from Dave Silvers…
Now - I know I’ve been putting it off through lack of time - but it took a lot longer than anticipated - I guess I should expect some recalsitrant bolts on a 21 year old bike!
Anyhow - after some gnashing of teeth, some swearing and acouple of grazed knuckles my Bol now has new front brakes - and boy have they changed the bike! My first vf thou (bought new in '87 had pretty good brakes - and now the Bol stops just as well as I remember the last one! [8D]
Now - getting a gentle weave at about the ton (allegedly) and a bit of a wallowey back end (ooh, er missus…)
So - methinks a new shock/shock rebuild are in order…
This things turning out like the Forth Bridge - get one thing fixed - then there’s the next! [:o)]
