My VF1000 and VF500F2 carb rubbers arrived this week from the States. I was surprised to find them available and wasn’t sure if they’d be NOS or copies and fortunately they are NOS. Of course the tax man spotted them right off and stung me a further £13.00 ( each set ) which took them to £55.00 each set including postage. I fitted the 500 ones today and boy, don’t you notice the massive difference in pliancy. Fitting the assembly back onto the heads was a doddle this time round.
So its off to the Bristol Classic Bike show next weekend and the collecting of more crap for the garage.
Still a win overall.
