Hi, I have a 1985 VF1000F that appears to have a stuffed CDI unit.
Is there anyone able to help track one down or know of someone able to repair it? Or know of anyone with a spare for sale.
I am in Melbourne and prepared to travel.
First: One or two boxes ? If only one, you can also look for -85/-86 VF1000R unit, it is very same. I bought two years ago a NOS unit from Australia with 90 Euros
Common problem are loosened solders, opening the box and checking them might be good idea.
