choke cable

can anyone tell me how to swap the choke cable on a 85 bol d’or ?
seems to be ready for a new one now

Should be reasonably easy RR, I have not had mine disconnected at the 'bars yet but have had it off the carbs.

Airbox off you will see it at the front of the carbs, cable outer is clamped pretty close to centreline of carbs and the inner [nipple] slips into the actuating lever closer to the clutch lever side of the carbs.

Fit the inner first with a little marine grease on the nipple and then clamp the outer, note that location of the outer sets cable slack.

thanks for that had a look at it the other day … will have to look at the connection at the bar grop…
