Great news,another running VF.I’m made up for you mate,especially given the bikes history.
Please stay involved with the forum,it’s good to hear from owners using and enjoying their bikes,tips they have and problems overcome all add to the pool of knowledge that makes this forum so worthwhile.

Hi, will definitely stay involved in the forum and send photos… May have developed a problem as it was ticking over quite nicely I revved it slightly and all of a sudden there was a Horrible ticking noise coming from the front L/H (as u sit on the bike) cylinder, So I shut the bike off straight away… Plenty of oil and no oil light has come on so who knows, Might have to go in because that’s beyond me. I thought it was going too good 
Worth checking it’s not a blowing gasket on the exhaust header on that cylinder,they sound horrendous when they go,like a really bad tappet noise
Started the bike today and let it tick over for about 8minutes… then all of a sudden the ticking noise just went… very odd… all seems ok now
Yup very odd can’t diagnose that one
