84 vf1000f I got new progressive spring but they are about 1 1/2” longer then the stock ones. In my bike there is only a spacer in the left tube the right tube the stock spring sits pretty much level to to of the tube. So when I install the new springs the left would work by cutting the spacer but the right side the spring sticks out 1 1/2”. The spring number is 11-1126 which I thought is correct for this bike.
