Front Head gasket

I need to fit a new head gasket on my VF1000F2. its the front cylinders so can it be done in situ or does the engine need to come out? Thanks Paneuro

Hi, plenty lookers but seems like nobody knows???

Discussed this topic at the weekend and the consensus is there is not enough clearance on the studs to lift the head in the frame.
None of us have tried it but what’s the worst that can happen,the engine will have to come out anyway

Contrary to the wisdom of the collective,my honda manual lists the front head as serviceable in the frame.The earlier version lists both heads as doable.
