Hi there and looks like Im in the right place for all things VF related!
Im new to VF1000s and recently picked this VF1000F project up as a very sad, non runner. Its a Jan 84 and although its had a rough life, its mostly all there. I havent seen as many of the black and grey versions as I have the blue white red. Not sure if there are any records of that kind of thing available?
Interestingly it has a SC16E engine fitted. The engine does turn over via the magneto and I would like to get it started and running at least before I fully strip the whole bike and begin the restoration.
As you might have guessed I’ll be chasing a few bits and Ive noticed that there isnt much advertised anywhere online?
Anyway here’s a couple of pics and looking forward to the challenge and talking to some experts about how to go about it.
