I’m looking for a head lift stand for my VF1000R. I see lots of them for around $100usd. The Bike Master looks pretty good to me. I have paddock stands.
Do some of you folks have a favorite, or probably more important, do you know of some to avoid?
I just found this Moto4U stand, it looks like it allows the axle to be removed easier than the Bike Master. What are your thoughts?
I use different methode in combination with a rear stand My father in law was carpenter and made something for me. I use a car lifter below the oil pan and secure the front.
The other option are mounting points at the garage ceiling. But you have to be careful. Yesterday I removed rear wheel and placed the lifter a little bit far to the rear and at some point it lifted the rear.
I just bought a cheap pair of paddock stands, front & rear, off fleabay…I have four bikes and they fit all four of them…All I have to do is adjust the height and change out the steering head pin on the front one to suit each bike…
It allows the front wheel to be removed easily too.
