Well, I trawled the internet using the usual people and found those rubbers at good old “Lings”
I told them that Windys Dad made me get them - and he said several people had come on to him for parts for the same reason !![;)]

Just got to wait for them to arrive and the cursing begins in earnest.

The way I adjust the sync screws is by taking a screwdriver that takes the multibits and sticking the long end of an allen key in the end of it, then you can stick a 7mm 1/4inch socket on the short end… lay on your back and adjust the screws… first time takes a little time but it gets easier every time…

Thanks Windex. I think were all agreed the rear two can be done just about - the the way you descibe, its the front one that is the b......d. It seems the best chance youve got is take the air filter box off, get it up to temp with the gauges on, then switch off, open the throttle to “wide open” which brings the little blighter out from the shadows, make an adjustment then fire her up again and repeat the process.
