Today I reworked the electrical contacts of the starter button. I was able to do this without removing the lights switch (lucky me). Does anybody know how to remove the front “panel” to disassemble the light switch?
I had no second try as the US version does not have these one and the spare part ist from an US.
For what..?? You don’t say what model VF you have..??

I got VF1000R, but switches are the same in F and also the lower ccm VF. It is just to know how it could work. My Start switch wasn’t working and it could also happen to the light. Better be prepared. You need some force and it is old plastic.
I found a video about CB400N and took some screenshots. Maybe it is the same, but If anybody knows it, I take that information.
There you pull it to the front and a ball/spring ist used to determine position. And there ist a hook in the white housing.
