Location for the spring to brake switch

Ok, have been trying to get the brake light to work for the foot brake on my VF1000FE 1984. Turns out the spring is missing.
But I cant figure out the location where the spring should be mounted on the foot brake mechanisms.
Can somebody point me to the location? :face_with_monocle:

Whereā€™s the brake light switch..? There should be a fine spring between the pedal ā€œhookā€ and the switch.

Yes, itā€™s a VF1000FE 1984 as I wrote in the first post :sweat_smile:
Do you mean the spring should be mounted on this hook thatā€™s already hooked to the return spring of the foot brake pedal?

Yes, the other end of the spring goes to the switch itself..
