Mew Member says hi!

I’ve just joined the forum and wanted to say hello. I’ve bought a VF1000R (the cat C one that was on ebay a couple of weeks ago) I think the bike had been crashed, set on fire and then put out with a spade, judging by it’s condition! But once i saw it I just had to have it. Managed to get it running today, and now I intend to get it road-worthy before the spring, use it over summer and then restore it properly over next winter, when I’ve managed to get all the bits I need to do it properly. I’m based near Derby in the East Midlands and have access to grit and bead blasting and ultrasonic cleaning, and good connections to bike friendly sprayers and powdercoaters so if I can help anybody out just let me know. Cheers Sean

Welcome Sean. Another old girl saved from the scrapper!

Yeh, welcome to the VF world. Difficult sometimes but always a joy.
