vf1000ff rocker arm shaft

hi all,

can anyone tell me if there should be a washer/spacer fitted on the vf1000ff rocker shaft between the rocker and the shaft. it doesn’t look like there should be, there is no reference to it in the manual, but it appears on the exploded line drawing.

Hi Pete,the washer pictured is only fitted to the FE and to the Canadian FF which uses FE rocker shafts.
FF and F2F models rockers float on the spring fitted behind the end cap so dont need the wave washer to provide end float.
