Hi my VF1000re Is finally gone to the garage for a carb balance and clutch brake fluid change as it’s never had one in 40 years… The bike hasn’t got stock tailpipes on it, Because I couldn’t find any for a few years back…
… but it’s got a an original exhaust collector underneath… The guy who is doing the work has a set of exhaust from a VFR 750. I’m just wondering will they fit or is it not a good idea?
They don’t fit unfotunately…the “F” bikes have a different exit pipe angle and mount point compared to the “R”. Many have tried fitting VF1000F mufflers to an R only to be disappointed.
