Hi folks, first post on here!
I’ve recently purchased a vf1000f and am in the middle of a general strip down to see what needs doing.
I’ve found the alternator connection plug is heat damaged (common Honda fault?). I’ve ordered a replacement plug.
The 3 wires are all yellow, is there a particular order they need to go in? The current connector is so damaged its quite hard to see which wires mated with each other!
Any help would be much appreciated.
I’ll post some photos once back together. Really enjoying working on the bike, it’s in generally very good condition and was owned a while ago by a forum member.
