Bad day on the old vf

Went for a blast on the vf!
Having a great time nipping around the yorkshire wolds, then noticed a bmw 1000sx behind me looking like he was about to pounce and show me how a modern sports tourer can hustle these windy roads! so I turned it up a bit and opens the gap but he stayed right there 50 meters back then as we were slowing down from silly speeds he popped in front and turned his fcukign blue lights on!
Got ya.
Just waiting for the letter now.
I’ll be staying well away from that road and those speeds for a while.
How quickly the mood of the day changes. :face_holding_back_tears:

Hi intruder, thats a downer, all the yorkshire police forces now have a number of unmarked bikes, where abouts were you , i know of a few people who have been pulled in the same way, most getting away with rider / driver awareness courses..

Hi vf pete.
thanks for the reply.
Never thought that the xr1000 was a cop, he didn’t even have a white helmet that used to be a big clue when an unmarked bike was about.
It’ll teach me to get all rest and teenager like just because a bike looks like it wants a dabble.
I was going to go out on my cruiser, that just feels good when pottering along at speed limits but I thought na the honda needs a blast to clear the dust off!
I should have just polished it🤨

Hi Intruder, bad luck that. As a fan of North Yorkshire roads can you tell us where you were caught?

Hi buffer
yes it was on the Beverly to wetwang road (a1248)
It was literally 5 mins from my house.
It is still in east yorkshire on the way to seaways cafe, you might know it , it’s the local biker cafe and the main reason the place swarms with unmarked vehicles.
Remember all, any biker could be a cop hunting you down, only when we stopped at a patrol car hidden round the corner could you see a small police badge.
sly as they come now.
