Has anyone had the 2 screws that hold the carbs together break.
I went to remove carbs and found these broken.
Plus do you remove the front set first?
Can we fit standard f carbs
The standard FE or FF carb bodies seem to be an easy swap. I have a spare RE set that someone has broken one carb on. I’ll be replacing it with the equivalent FE spare
Hi kiwi honda, yes, its a common fault, I’ve had a few broken sets over the years, i dont tend to worry about it as long as the carbs are secured into the plenium chamber they dont move

I looked into welding but that would distort the bodies i would think
Nigh-on impossible to weld cast ally successfully.
