Due to a build up of solidified drive chain spray behind the engine drive sprocket cover this has tracked through the edges of the cover and up onto the face and lifted the high gloss black paint finish. I have stripped the cover ready for respraying.
As you will know the original black finish of all the engine components is high gloss and I am looking to obtain the original spec of the paint. Does anyone know what it was and whether it had a clear laquer coating finish.
