Compulsive VF collectors?

OK, confession time for me, sounds a bit like Alcoholics Anonymous: ( with all due respect to AA)

My name is Greg and I have a problem:

I just can’t resist the urge to buy VF projects bikes or parts. I have even urged a good VJMC mate to buy VFs when I couldn’t. I had 5 different model VFs and recently arranged to buy another project RE. My good friend, I’ll call him Mike, now has at least 4, plus loads of parts. Both of us buy parts way faster than we can complete any of the projects.

Anyway, the problem is I need a good system for cataloguing and storing the parts so I can prioritise the parts that fit only R models, or are common to both F and R models. Ideally I would like to eventually sell most of the F model bikes/ parts so I can concentrate on finishing R projects.

Love to see some photos of your collection.

it’s about as far from a curated collection as you can get! 2 rideable bikes: 84 RE, waiting for painter to finish tank and panels, and my long term hack 85 FF with an 86 RG motor.

Anything else is in bits, sometimes lots of bits!

I do it it the other way round and try to sell my GER-RG and the US-RF in parts. Maybe we can find together :innocent: (just joking, as you are far away) The parts are in boxes (fruits from supermarket) and I wrote outside, what it is inside.
