Has anyone successfully coated the engine covers to look stock? My covers are actually perfect, black, shiny, but I want to dress up a spare engine that I bought and the covers are peeled and rough.
I’m about to paint my clutch and generator covers. I’ve got an Akzo Nobel single stage 2 pac gloss black. It should be done in a few weeks - I’ll let you know how it comes out.

I have powder coated all of mine,but that’s maybe because I can’t paint very well.The finish is however second to none
