Well done Garry,
I thouroughly enjoyed your journey, great work m8, bif and Pete, I loved your inputs, amasing. I am exactly at that point now, crankcase on the floor and ready for cleaning and then the fun starts.
Should I continue on this thread or start a new one??? thoughts please gents.
We all love a good rebuild, start a new thread so we can follow your progress!
Will do m8, agree we all do love a strip down/re-build

Unfortunately “Garyb” hasn’t been back on here since June of 2023.

Gary’s a top bloke, when he appeared with the stake after the tyre gave up on my R i thought he was going to harpoon the bike…. To be honest, a team effort from gaz, bif, john and martin, supported the R on rocks and the stake while we got the rear wheel off, then a piggy back on bifs fe with wheel under my arm to the nearest bike shop with a tyre that fitted, top team effort from all the lads.. did manage 93miles with yhe string coming out of rear tyre but it gave up with 6 miles to go.. ![]()
