Can anyone advise if this bushing is shot or suppose to be elongated. My gut tells me I need a new bushing.
They don’t really affect much so I’ve just used mine. It looked similar
You can buy the little plastic bushing itself and the collar that sits in it separately, I bought all new parts for the valve for mine when I overhauled my forks…the “anti-dive” system itself never worked well, even when the bikes were new…was kind of a “gimmick” really. I’ve fitted some YSS fork valves/internals & springs to mine…nuch better than stock and still looks original.
Yeah I originally thought it was brass, until I pushed it out. just measured it up and 3d printed a new one. I’m all set now!
