Carbs dry after sitting a while. When I turn the key there is a clack from the fuel pump but not every time I turn it on and off. Bridging the black and the white relay wires does not make the pump run. Every time it clacks I can see fuel moving in the filter. Try giving the pump a hard knock?
Ok - got the fuel pump working but now it appears to be flooded. Will check the plugs and give it a crank to clear it out.
