Headrace bearing sizes

I’ve tightened them but they still have a bit of movement- so I’m gonna get some headrace bearings..

  • is the size
    26x47x15 - 32005/26 - 91015-KT8-005 top
    30x55x17 - 32006 - 91016-KT8-005 bottom ?
    I see it written sometimes that the bottom is 33x55x17 ..

Just buy a kit with new seals and roller bearings.
Plenty on fleabay. All balls kits are ok.

funny I was just reading a guys post (elsewhere) of how his allballs kit didn’t fit and he had to break 1 to get it out- so won’t be going there- but buying separately is cheaper as everyone wants a cut.. anyway times up 4 this q so I’m buying 30x55x17 NSK

I’ve never had an issue with AllBalls kits for VFs?
When you do install the bearing outlets in the frame- make sure the frame opening is very clean down where the outer bottoms out, and ensure you follow the Honda manual procedure for setting up the bearing preload using a spring scale.
Failure to get it right can lead to a head shaking bike.

oops you’re right ! I was on the CBR1000 site-
and thanks 4 the tip- I’ll do just that. I was reading about it a few days ago and thought I wouldn’t bother- but since u mentioned it-- I will. Years ago my last 1 had huge speed wobble, which I def don’t want to experience again!
