Help

I need the large o ring that fits the water pump housing. David Silver says they are no longer available, has anyone found a suitable replacement, what do you use instead?

Colin

If its a standard oil seal o ring type just find your local oil seal distributor
Remember to take the original, probably cost less than a Pound

The Oring dimensions are32.95x2.62mm and part number is 91302-mb0-013,
Dave Silver lists 3 in stock at£2.95 plus vat and p+p

It’s not standard! It has a specific shape and is fairly rigid. If I could find a “normal” O ring with the same perimeter dimensions I could shape it to fit, failing that I will reuse and add a dab of hermetite

Hi Bif,

As stated this is not the circular O ring that goes on the shaft of the oil pump, it’s the one that exposes the water pump impeller

So you are looking for a pump cover gasket then, why didn’t you say so.
I have some new ones here PM if you’re interested
