When I let my licence lapse and had to do the whole training and test thing again, I had three Honda NT400s. Great wee bike.
The last one even had a lovely Moriwaki pipe!
However, it also had a set of original Honda keys from the 80s, with lovely brass finish on the molded wing enclosed in hard black plastic.
I discovered it in my workshop bench drawer the other day and though ti would be nice if that fit my VF. My VF has an upgraded ignition barrel that takes a much more complex key, from the VAG group, AFAIK.
So I tried the old Bros key in the tank of the VF,and guess what? it worked! It also worked in the helmet lock/seat release.
This has made me happy.
