Yep, speeding is a costly hobby, just ask my brother Pat. going to Phillip Island one year we were clocked doing 102kms/h, we thought it was an 80 zone until the cop jumped out from the scrub. My brother Pat pulled over and my other brother and I rode around them and kept going. met back at the next pub and his most famous quote to this day? “that was the best $650.00 i have ever spent” turns out it was a 60 zone. kept his licence because at the time he was on a WA licence. a couple of mate that was with us in the back field were doing 82 and the fine beat them home.
