Maybe a stupid question but wot rateing is the main fuse.
Its 30 amp pal.

I wouldn’t bother mate, it would require you to cut into the loom that goes to the starter solenoid and then run another wire to the battery. I’ve only had the main fuse blow once in 34 years of VF’s and that was my fault not securing the rear brake light cable properly and it melted on the exhaust, the original method works fine, i think i may have a spare you can have and will bring it to Scotland for you.
I decided it would be more bother so left it alone
