I just picked up my first VF1000R! I also have an 84 VF1000F in my collection at the time, but this will be my first R model. My first question relates to the VIN#, does this mean mine was the 20th one produced? Will be posting up questions as I go, just got the bike fired up yesterday after about a 5 year slumber, fresh battery, spark plugs and fuel from an external source and she burbled to life, the carbs were leaking of course and they came off today for a serious clean/disassemble/rebuild.
