Hi to all.
My name is Mark, I am a Dutch male, 46 years young, and the proud owner of a 1984 VF1000RE.
The bike has a bit of a history. I got it in a trade deal with my brother when i sold him my Ducati 748 about three years ago, but I never made the effort to bring it home until now.
My brother bought it in 1988, had new camshafts and rockerarms put in in 1992 and managed to destroy a bigend bearing two months later.
He then bought a 1986 crashed bike and moved on with that engine.
I am hoping to restore it, with your help, to its former glory this winter.
