Good to see this beauty at work today
Could be frew168?
I hope the owner is part of the forum, cause I’m very curious to get information about the following:
Is this a frame from a F2?
Fork and calipers are from ???
Wheels from a PC25?
Exhaust made by your own?
He is indeed a forum member,my brother in fact😎
Hi there. Yes it is indeed Frew168 Tuffy.
Note the heavily modified clutch lever which occured when i dropped it at the gatehouse that morning.
Infinytumb the bike is actually An FF not an F2. It has FE bodywork on it and I love the way it looks.
Front forks are original stanchions married to CBR1000FH lowers. I have fitted linear springs and YSS emulator valves . Calipers are CBR1000FH . Wheels are cbr600f2 with a fitting setup by Bif.
The exhausts are Delkevic Cans with made up link pipes. This bike was originally built by another forum member VFPete who did the bodywork too. It has an FF motor with top end oiling kit.
Thats about all i can tell you off the top of my head.
That’s lovely !!!
Frame is an “FE”, coolant hose from water pump goes into the lower part of the frame just left of the side stand mount, the F2 does not.
Exhaust looks similar to mine, made by “Dominator” of Poland. But you can just see a faint
“Delcevic” sticker on the muffler.
Smithy.
While it may look as if the hose from the water pump goes to the frame rail, there is no hose from the top of the rail to the radiator. There are also no water pipes from the heads to a thermostat housing on the left of the bike. This frame also bolts to the front head unlike the FE.
The frame is actually from an FF as stated
Regards Bif
On closer inspection…you’re quite right sir…I need to get to specsavers. FF frame it is. I think I can just see a half-moon rocker cover gasket too…which makes it an FF engine too.
Smithy…going blind in my old age..
