How hard should the lever to change damping be to move on the VF1000R? Mine feels quite tight between the notches and with the cable not being in good nick it is nearly impossible to change settings.
Seems like this is the likely cause of many damaged cables that are now NLA.
I believe the replacement one being sold on Ebay does not work as the inner cable is too flexible.
Any solutions to this?
Hi down under ,i had the same issue on my r ended up braking the small plastic lever on the shock,take the 0ld shock and throw it in the bin go to suspensions rus and buy a wilbers 640 to suit your model when its set up to your liking its like riding a new bike not cheap but as they say you get what you pay for.
