Now I have my VF1000 bol d’or home I am assessing what I exactly need for the rebuild. I have all new fasteners and I will re make the throttle cables. Just about everything else I need is to hand - lathe, mill, welding kit, paint, tools and elbow grease. However the rubber grommets from the fairing and rear section panels are either rotted or missing. Are these still available anywhere or are they made of unobtainium ?

Hi JnJ,most of the small rubber parts for the Bol are no longer available from the likes of dave silver or cmsnl.
It’s surprising tho what turns up on eBay,one seller durhamducs has recently broken a very tidy Bol for spares.
He’s good to deal with and may well have what you need

Many thanks for the info. I have already been thinking of alternatives to fixing things and have gone through all my boxes of tat looking for them.
Concur with Bif, I have had a couple of bits off Durham Dukes, expensive, but clean parts and great service.
