Road Ready - 2 from 3.

Hi Guy’s,

Been a long time between photo’s posted !
Just thought I’d send a couple of snapshots with my progress.
Bike (One) the 84 VF1000FE with the VF1000RE motor fitted, all running and ready to be painted. Original motor being rebuilt.
Bike (Two) of the 84 VF1000FE (Black) all ready for registration and road work after being cleaned up and electricals sorted out. [:D]

Still a little more work to go but there soooo close now, can’t wait to go for a blast. [:p]

Bike (Three) 85 VF1000FF is only spares at the moment and looks like a fellow rider down on his luck due to a nasty fall will be using what’s left for spares to get back on the road.

Cracked it Paul…when you insert the link in between the [IMG]…[/IMG}…the actual IMG letters must be altered to lower case…img

Hellooooooo PAJ, BIF…Didn’t come up in lower case when I just tried it the first time…altered it to lower case and O.K.

Just clicked on “insert a pic” again and this time it came up in lower case…Anyways , here’s ya pics…hurry up with the third one eh?[8D]

Thanks Tiny Tim,

As you can see the black one is ready now to hit the road, and the red one is the bike I fitted the “R” motor into and is fully going but needs to get a re-spray done. [:p]
As for bike three its on the back of a truck as I type this heading to Brisbane to a needy VFer who needed a front forks, fairing, and front wheel, so I did him a job lot for everything I didn’t need or fitted the 84 FEs.
So whats with the salt? Its more fun riding not knowing where the ice is, it gets the heart pumping and works your buttock cheeks holding on… [;)]
“NOW” I will try again with your words of wisdom to post a pic of my number three bike when it left the stable. Here Goes…

Ahhhh…nearly there Paul…nearly…all you need to do now is post the right size pictures.[:I]

If you look at your Photobucket page…top right hand corner where you select pics to upload from your computer…there is an option you can click on to upload to whatever size…click on that and choose the Message Board size option…

O.K>?

Hope you manage to get over your drink problem too mate…[;)]

Thanks heaps Tiny Tim,

Have learnt a lot about posting photo’s on this site now. It will probably benefit others as well reading about it. [8D]

As for the drinking problem, I thought I’d post a final photo to see if I get the sizing right as you’ve instructed. The photo posted is a shot of my employers cellar, [:p] but you’ve possibly worked that out by the packing case already. [:D]

Nice place to work Paul…Any more pics from down under are always appreciated.

Whereabouts in Aus?[8D]

Hi TT, I’m living in the state of New South Wales, down south just above the Victorian border. They call this area the Riverina due to the rivers running into the Murray River that divides the two states. Also known for the citrus fruit, fruit and vegetables grown in the area. As you possibly gathered I work in the winery industry for Orlando Wines, with brand names such as Jacob’s Creek, Wyndham Estate, Gramps, Richmond Grove and many other lesser known labels. Orlando Wines is one of the largest wineries in Australia, and are owned by Pernod & Rickard of France, Better known for being the second biggest spirits manufactures in the world currently.

Possibly would be a good idea if there were a members forum for their home area stories and great rides in their districts (just a thought)
Also have joined the http://australiancx.asn.au/forum/ as I’m cleaning up a CX500C euro for my daughter at the moment. It also has quite a good following from the UK with some of the members from this site also contributing. Also has great Ozzie pictures of rides and members machines.
Thanks again Tiny Tim and catch ya again here soon.

Hi Paul…nice bit of info…Have a couple of mates from the other side…both Blackbird riders I’ve got to “know” on another site…one’s from Rosebud…the other from Sydney. I often Google Earth Oz and they give me coordinates of places they ride…Have even got a few DVD’s of them doing the Thunder Road, the Ox and the Putty…awesome roads…And you’re in the wine business…all I can say is …“you’ll be sorry”.!!!..until then…you’re a jammy bastid…

Cheers, TT[:)]
