Just so we are all up to date,the hotel contacted me to confirm our booking is still going ahead.
I had a few questions due to the various restrictions that are still in place.
1 Breakfast,continental breakfast was included in the price with a £5 per day charge to upgrade to full cooked.That option is not available due to distancing issues.(Graham I have your £15 back)
2 Food is being served from their full menu in the conservatory and on the patio(now complete with heaters)
3 Beer is table service only,but there will be plenty of it(cider available for the apple lovers amongst us)
We will be following the route Johnboy posted up and meeting up at the usual places.
So Friday 11th September,bring it on

My thanks to the Portsonachan hotel for hosting our group and keeping us supplied with excellent food and drink.
I would also recommend the Glencoe Gathering in Glencoe village,first rate food in man size portions and a seperate area for wet gear away from the tables.
Having a base to return to each night rather than moving from hotel to hotel was a popular move this year and so will feature in future trips.
The trip was a long time coming but well worth the wait,thanks to all the owners who came along and made it so enjoyable

Yeh thanks Bill. Some of time it should have been a motorboat instead of motorbike. But we all made it through. Good good and drink. What else do we need.

Finally had time to treat the old girl to a proper wash

She has scrubbed up well and only needed a half turn on the chain adjusters to get the tension right.
There is no noticeable wear on the alloy rear sprocket either which I am happy about.having gone down to 520 pitch to give me a bit more room for the 170 tyre without offsetting the sprocket,I wasn’t sure how it would stand up to a bit of abuse

Will keep it at home as it will get broken in work. We will have to start a collection now and I’ll have to get my fairing sprayed so it doesn’t let the side down next year.
