While taking the carbs apart today I noticed a small hole in the rubber flutes and a small notch in the housing.. is this important when they are put back together? Maybe have to line up? Can’t rely see any purpose! Thanks Sean.
I believe the little hole in the velocity stacks is possibly a drain hole and I suspect it should face the “lower side”.
Can’t say I’ve seen them in my set….although I haven’t looked that hard..

The little hole in the rubber velocity stacks lines up with the little notch in the alloy housing. Don’t know what the function is, but that’s definitely how it’s meant to be…
