Stripped thread in block

Hey guys.
One of the threads for my head bolt is stripped in the block of my 1000f. Has anyone had this happen before? And how did they go about repairing. I was thinking of using a helicoil but as it’s far into the block wondering if that’s possible. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve used Helicoil kits on car and motorcycle head threads with no problem. Quite easy to do but when you drill the pilot hole for the tap make sure it is perpendicular. Use a drill guide to make sure this is correctly drilled.

There are better solutions than a Helicoil , you can get a boss type insert that is not just the thread .
