Hi Guys looking for this tank protector that goes underneath the petrol tank. Not sure if this is essential on a vf1000r 1984 again, can’t seem to find one anywhere. Number 5 on the pic Regards Sean
It’s just a heat shield, you won’t find a new one these days. For this sort of thing I often just get some “stick-on” foil backed heat shielding from my local car parts store, cut it to shape and fit it…does an admirable job.

Yeah definitely go with the aftermarket heat shield, works fine.
