Can someone tell me where the bottom breather tube is meant to go on the rear cylinder head cover? There is also one on the block that seems to vent the crankcase. Do you just attach hoses to these and have them run down and come out the bottom of the bike? When I attach a hose to the head cover vent, I get a lot of oil coming out of it. Will be doing a compression test on the bike shortly, but want to make sure I have vented it correctly first. I have attached some photos for reference.
What DonR said… just connect the two with a single piece of fuel hose or oil resistant hose. I replaced mine just recently as the old one was perrished/split…I suspect it was the original and probably 40+ years old.
I see she’s an “FE”…I’ve had several FE’s over the years…am now actively looking for another to add to my RE. Wish I had neve sold them all now.
