Hi anyone got a starter motor for a 1985 Bol d or 1000

got a new vf750 one last year for about £65 from a usa seller including taxes

Thanks very much for that didn’t know other models fitted

The Vf750f starter also fits and is strangely enough a better choice being 4 rather than 2 brush.
The only thing to watch for on the likes of the caltic starter from the US is the terminal is at the opposite end from standard and is likely to foul the oil cooler line

on my fe 84 replacement starter the live bolt was about 2 inches further away on the body,just had to pull the cable along a bit plenty of lengh in the cable but oil coolers might get in the way
