His it possible to remove the key barrel on my fuel cap,i have a replacement cap without a key so want to swap barrels if possible
Not sure about that, I’ve stripped down the cap to replace the seal and the o ring for the one way valve but never removed a barrel. I may have a cap stripped down somewhere to look at, I will have a look and get back to you.

Hi Dave, I stripped a cap down today but still could not work out how to remove barrel. Not sure if you have to remove the outer skin of cap but didn’t want to do that as it may damage the black outer skin ruining the cap. If I can find an old rusted cap I will try and remove outer and let you know.
