I managed to order both mains and connecting rod bearings for my 84 VF1000f a few months ago. However, on doing an inventory last night I noticed that I was sent 13225MB4003 connecting rod bearings in lieu of the 13225MJ4010 B (green) bearings I ordered. Whilst I am yet to hear back from CMS, my initial searches identified these as VF1100C bearings. Of note, though, the VF1100C parts breakdown on Partzilla appears to offer both the MB4 and MJ4 bearings as compatible items.
Can anyone enlighten me here? If they are compatible, maybe this becomes another option for VF1000 bearing acquisition.
They do fit Rob,the crank pin diameter is the same on the 1100 as the 1000.
just a shame the mains are different.
Forget the colour codes as they get confusing when using a range of shells,as we have to these days,and stick with A,B and C
