I have just stripped down my carbies the bike has been sitting for about 10 years and they were all gunned up .Tank cleaned , fuel pump cleaned out , new fuel filter .
Ok so i have removed all the jets and ultra sonic cleaned them, new needle and seat , my question is one jet ( the starting jet)how do you get it out / does it really come out/does it need to come out , I’ve sort of tried but no movement.It is blocked as no air will go through and my smallest jet drill only goes in a few mm. Suggestions please?? TIA
It is normally 0.38mm. Must be clean for carbs to work properly.
Ok thanks just ran a carby drill through all the varnish left inside now soaking in acetone .
