I’m putting my VF1000RF up for sale
Just 5,900 miles from new and I’m the 3rd owner. Genuine UK twin headlight bike originally supplied by Three Cross Motorcycles.
I bought the bike just over two years ago. It had been stood for many years so a fair amount of clean up and recommission work was carried out.
Carbs stripped and ultrasonic cleaned and rebuilt with completely new internals. Brake callipers and master cylinders completely overhauled, front forks stripped and rebuilt with new seals etc. New oil and filter. Many new fasteners. All replacement parts have been OEM from David Silver Honda parts. New Pilot Activ tyres. I’ve covered just 900 miles since the acquiring the bike.
The bike is very clean and in excellent condition all round.
I had real issues with the original tank, it was rusty inside and an attempt to seal it failed! The tank you see on the bike now is spotlessly clean inside but needs re painting, unfortunately I’m not in a position to finish this off. I have the OEM Honda decals for the tank which are included in the sale.
With a little more time and money this bike could be an absolute minter.
