Hi, got some pretty old tyres on the two 750’s I’ve acquired, 18” rear 16” front, what modern radial tyres fit and what possible sizes can be fitted to original rims TIA

Nothing in “modern tyres” unfortunately…Bridgestone make tyres in stock sizes to suit our old VF’s. BT-46.

Thanks for info, had been struggling to find much out there, certainly not much chance of searching out any bargains

You have to remember, our bikes are well over 40 years old and very few modern bikes run 16” front wheels…so finding decent tyres these days can be a bit difficult.

I run the Avon “Road Runners” on my VF1000RE and it has a 17” rear, but they’re difficult to find in 16” for the front as well.
