After leaving my bike for a week on the side stand, when I come to start it 1 and 2 cylinders will not fire. Removing plugs shows they are wet. I think that leaning on the sidestand means any fuel that is able to will gravitate to the 1 and 2 carbs. If the float valves leak slightly over time and 1 and 2 become flooded then these cylinders will not fire on startup.
Does the bike being on sidestand alter the float pressure because of the angle or is it just lheaky float valves?
I have now run the carbs dry and will see tomorrow if it fires on all cylinders on startup.
Anyone had a similar issue?
